I have successfully created my account, installed the plugin and configured my information - but signatures are not being added to my email. What's going on?

Once you have completed the installation and configuration, do make sure you (our your users) have performed the following actions:
  1. added the desired signature to the Hancock.it plugin configuration;
  2. disabled the automatic signature for this account in GMails's "Mail settings";
  3. re-started your browser (you have to re-load all your mail browser windows to make Hancock.it work).

E-mail contains sensitive information, does Hancock.it collect or store any of my private e-mail data?

No, Hancock.it's system architecture is designed for privacy. Because Hancock.it works with a browser plugin on your local computer, none of your email information is ever sent to our servers. The Hancock.it signature data is all stored locally on your computer and the only data Hancock.it has access to is the signature count for click-through analytics.




What types of taglines should I use in my signatures?

Is Hancock.it free?
